Job summary

Centrax Digital, an AI-first consulting and digital engineering firm, is seeking a Zoho Creator Developer to build and maintain Creator applications, Deluge scripts, and integrations.

You will translate technical briefs into production-ready components, perform data migrations, and ensure quality through testing and documentation. Hybrid work arrangement and standard leave apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three-year diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on Deluge and Zoho Creator development experience.
• At least one production integration between Zoho and a third-party system.
• Experience with REST API design, authentication, webhooks and middleware basics.
• Version control discipline, code review, and unit/system testing of custom components.
• Zoho Creator certification preferred; other Zoho/API credentials are a plus.
• Data migration experience into Zoho or similar SaaS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build Zoho Creator applications end to end from a technical brief: data model, forms, pages, workflows, and client scripts.
• Write and maintain complex Deluge across the Zoho One suite: multi-module workflows, custom functions, and scheduled automation.
• Design and build integrations between Zoho and third-party systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware.
• Design and execute data migrations: extraction, transformation, validation, load, and reconciliation with audit trail.
• Estimate build effort and flag technical risk before build starts.
• Apply version control and code review discipline and unit test components before handover to UAT.
• Resolve defects from user acceptance testing and document resolutions.
• Produce technical documentation for every component and contribute reusable patterns to Zoho Practice Library.

Where the Zoho Consultant configures, you build: Creator applications, complex Deluge, integrations, and data migrations.

THE ROLE

To build the custom components of Zoho One solutions to a technical brief from the Zoho Consultant or Solution Architect, and to own their technical quality through to production. You turn designs into working Creator applications, integrations, and migrations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build Zoho Creator applications end to end from a technical brief: data model, forms, pages, workflows, and client scripts.
• Write and maintain complex Deluge across the Zoho One suite: multi-module workflows, custom functions, and scheduled automation.
• Design and build integrations between Zoho and third-party systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware where scoped.
• Design and execute data migrations: extraction, transformation, validation, load, and reconciliation, with a documented audit trail.
• Estimate custom build effort and flag technical risk on designs before build starts.
• Apply version control and code review discipline to all practice code, and unit test custom components before handover to UAT.
• Resolve custom-component defects raised in user acceptance testing and document the resolution.
• Produce technical documentation for every custom component: what it does, how it is configured, and how to maintain it.
• Contribute reusable components, functions, and patterns to the Zoho Practice Library.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Bachelor's degree or three-year diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated development experience.
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on Deluge and Zoho Creator development experience.
• At least one integration between Zoho and a third-party system built and running in production.
• Working knowledge of REST API design and consumption, authentication patterns, webhooks, and middleware fundamentals.
• Version control discipline for Creator and Deluge code, code review practice, and unit and system testing of custom components.
• Zoho Creator Certified Developer certification preferred. Additional Zoho, API, or integration credentials are an advantage.
• Data migration experience into Zoho or a comparable SaaS platform is an advantage. Consulting or partner environment experience is an advantage.

WHERE THE BOUNDARIES SIT

The client-facing solution remains owned by the Zoho Consultant on the engagement. Architecture decisions sit with the Solution Architect.

HOW THIS ROLE EVOLVES

Progression runs from Junior Zoho Developer through Zoho Developer and Senior Zoho Developer to Lead Zoho Developer.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Standard working hours of 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working in line with company policy. Standard 21 days annual leave and BCEA leave entitlements apply.

REMUNERATION

Market related, commensurate with experience.
