Job description

Work model : Remote (can be based anywhere in South Africa). Need to be able to legally work in SA to be considered.

Salary : R32k - R40k CTC

What the job involves...

Leading and executing holistic, contextually relevant work readiness programmes for youth

Designing interventions based on behavioural change, life skills, design thinking, and professional development

Facilitating sessions that prepare youth for the world of work—personally, professionally, and socially

Ensuring young people are matched with the right opportunities and gigs, and supporting them to succeed

Collecting and analysing learner feedback and performance data to improve programming

Managing timelines, resources, and logistics for large-scale programming

Mentoring and coaching a team of Experience Coaches

Fostering authentic, meaningful engagement with learners—putting their voices and needs at the centre

Championing a culture of trust, accountability, joy, and continuous learning

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including coaching, learning design, data, and tech

What you need to be considered...

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Development, Social Work, Organisational Development, or related field (preferred)

Minimum 7 years’ experience working directly with youth, ideally in the South African context

Expertise in behavioural change, youth development, and employability

Strong experience designing and facilitating learning or psychosocial support programmes

Project management, coaching, and / or training experience

Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills

Highly organised, efficient, and data-driven

Deep empathy for young people navigating systemic challenges

Culturally competent and committed to inclusive practice

Mission-aligned, collaborative, and thrives in fast-paced, agile settings

Preferable experience working in a corporate / professional environment hiring youth at scale

Have worked in cross-sector partnerships (NGO, education, private sector)

Bring energy, optimism, and curiosity to your work

Have a track record of innovative youth development or employability interventions

Enjoy leading and developing teams

Are passionate about leveraging data for continuous improvement
