Job summary

Placements24 seeks an inspiring Youth Mentor and Development Facilitator to join their fully remote organization. You will empower young people by providing guidance, support, and opportunities to develop academically and personally in a virtual setting.

You will deliver online mentoring, design workshops on life skills and career readiness, create individual development plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with parents and schools to support youth success.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in psychology, education, social work, or related field.
• At least 2 years of youth mentorship/education experience.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate youth online.
• Strong facilitation and virtual workshop delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and empathy; active listening.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one and group mentoring sessions to young people remotely.

Requirements

• A degree or relevant certification in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with youth in mentorship, education, or counseling roles.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate young people effectively online.
• Strong facilitation and workshop delivery skills, adapted for virtual environments.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills .
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and learning management systems.
