Job description

Job Description: Data Analysis Specialist

Performs the role of specialist in data analysis (statistics/process) to assist the Head of Parts Business in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring KPIs are achieved through monitoring Sales Procurement and Forecast processes.

Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas
  1. Conducts detailed analysis of parts sales inventory, including on-order parts compared to projected inventory safety stock, parts consumption peaks or drops, parts usage for production surplus, and parts forecast to meet KPIs/objectives.
  2. Supports the Parts teams in reviewing system settings and processes related to parts forecast validation, inventory ordering, and the annual parts sales and inventory budget definition or review.
  3. Sales Margin Analysis and Reports: Analyzes Cost of Sales and generates reports, including Baan Deviation Analysis on parts and pricing.
  4. Overall Parts Operations Analysis: Ensures KPIs such as stock turn, fill rate, surplus, and cash flow are met; identifies deviations and initiates corrective actions with Parts Controlling, Service, and Reman.
  5. Analyzes parts selling prices in the ERP system, ensuring outdated prices are updated or closed.
  6. Prepares reports on item supersessions monthly for communication to customers, compares local parts pricing with factory pricing, and submits findings to the factory pricing platform.
  7. Reviews parts supply agreement pricing history and monitors price increases.
Key Competencies
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
