Who Can Apply

• Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in the Yes4Youth initiative.
• Aged between 18 and 29.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must reside close to the workplace area.
• Must not have a criminal record.
• Must be able to start employment on 1 May 2025.
• Highest qualification: Grade 12.
• Qualification aligned to the position would be an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb and lift heavy equipment.
• Effective communication skills; speaking English is preferred.
• Ability to plan and execute projects.

Duration

12 months

Stipend

R5000 monthly

Responsibilities

• Inspect building grounds and equipment.
• Handle necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Install equipment and appliances.
• Comply with all company safety regulations.
• Report issues to the maintenance manager.
• Respond promptly to repair and maintenance requests.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Read and follow manuals and other written instructions.
• Use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electrical tools, and plumbing tools, with care.
