Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to gather relevant information for marketing strategies.
  2. Content Creation: Assist in creating and proofreading marketing materials such as blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  3. Social Media Management: Help manage and maintain the organisation's social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analysing social media metrics.
  4. Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data related to marketing campaigns to assess their effectiveness and provide insights for future strategies.
  5. Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as product launches, trade shows, or promotional activities.
  6. Email Marketing: Assist in creating and sending email campaigns, as well as maintaining email lists and analysing email performance.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to marketing activities such as organising meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining marketing databases.
  8. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers and respond to inquiries or comments on various marketing channels, fostering positive relationships.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the marketing team as well as cross-functional teams such as sales, design, and product development.
  10. Digital Marketing Support: Assist in implementing digital marketing strategies including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and online advertising.
  11. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives and prepare regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  12. Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, marketing tools, and best practices to continually improve skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Must have experience in / good knowledge of the following:

  • SEO (including Google analytics and Ads)
  • Email Marketing Technology (such as Hubspot or Mailchimp)
  • Content marketing strategies including blog and video marketing
  • Web analytics and performance measurement
  • Copywriting and storytelling techniques (experience with the Donald Miller Storybrand framework will be advantageous)
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Knowledge of WordPress and Divi Builder advantageous
  • Multichannel marketing campaign planning and management
  • Social media marketing and paid advertising platforms (e.g. Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Branding and positioning strategies
