Job summary

Rhenish Primary School in Stellenbosch invites applications for a Year-round Sports Coach for 2027. This part-time role offers a fixed monthly payment and runs January–November 2027, with the potential for ongoing involvement beyond that period.

You will plan and deliver high-quality training, coach teams across age groups, attend fixtures, festivals and events, support athlete development, and work with other coaches and staff to grow our broader sporting programme.

• Supporting Mini Sport and introductory sporting programmes for younger pupils.
• Assisting with the organisation and management of fixtures and festivals.
• Umpiring/refereeing matches where appropriately qualified.
• Contributing to the development of our wider sporting programme.
• Representing Rhenish Primary School professionally at all times.

YEAR-ROUND SPORTS COACHES

Part-Time | Fixed Monthly Payment | January–November 2027

The successful candidate will be involved in both our Summer and Winter sporting programmes and will work closely with the Head of Sport and other members of the coaching team.

Although this is a part-time position, we are looking for individuals who are able to make a significant professional commitment to the school throughout the year.

Coaches will be expected to contribute across a range of sporting responsibilities, which may include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality training sessions.
