The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial analyses in line with company business strategies and plans. Further, they will address any issues that might affect the business and secure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Understanding business/economic/environmental drivers of actual results versus operating plan and forecast is essential.
This position is earmarked for Unemployed Youth on a 12-month contract basis. The person applying must comply with the criteria and be registered on the Yes4Youth platform.Responsibilities And Duties- Perform analysis of actual financial results and KPIs to understand financial performance and risks.
- During closing activities, support the Business Unit with required business information to enable timely and accurate period closings.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts in close cooperation with FCA.
- Participate in the setting of financial targets and business plans.
- Drive, manage, and develop local estimation processes.
- Proactively and objectively analyze and describe the financial consequences and risks of business decisions.
- Performance risk management within the respective area of responsibility.
- Drive and coordinate the investment process. Follow up on actual capital expenditure spending vs. approved frame.
- Support and coordinate real estate-related investments. Follow up on actual vs approved frame.
- Develop and measure financial KPIs and drive actions to improve the business.
- Annual SCS (standard cost of sales) snapshot and analysis of cost development YOY of products under Pretoria plant.
- Support improvement projects under E2E KD workstream, identifying and tracking savings.
- Perform analysis on production logistics cost development.
- Drive Cost Deployment process with the business units.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience- B-Degree in Cost Management and/or Accounting (B.Com/B-Tech).
- Financial knowledge and good understanding of the Financial function.
- At least 2 - 3 years of costing experience.
- Good budgeting knowledge.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing (advantageous).
