Job Position: Yard Supervisor

Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: R25 000 per month negotiable commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years Code 14 Drivers license
• Code 14 Driver experience highly advantageous
• Computer literate
• Previous Yard Supervisor skills/experience essential
• Mechanically orientated
• Energetic person with positive attitude
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Leadership and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work overtime if needed
• Ability to work independently while still maintaining to clearly communicate with management
• Ability to work under pressure

• Oversee daily operations in the yard
• Safety compliance

• Ensure the yard is organised and accessible for customers, staff, Drivers and trucks/trailers
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment in every department
• Ensure trucks are equipped with correct equipment for securing loads
• Drivers testing of all new applicants
• Actively supervise and monitor operational activities within the yard
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations including safety protocols
