Job summary

AtripleA recruitment & temps in Pretoria seeks a dedicated Junior Accountant with at least 5 years of accounting experience. You will manage creditors, debtors, VAT, financials and cash flow, with hands-on Xero experience.

Independent work style and strong admin skills are essential. Responsibilities include financial statement prep, VAT compliance, budgeting support, stock take, payroll assistance, and daily Xero usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• SAIPA/SAICA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile creditors and debtors.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage VAT submissions and ensure tax compliance.
• Assist with costing models and budgeting.
• Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity.
• Participate in stock takes and maintain stock records.
• Support payroll processing and vendor/payee records.
• Utilize Xero daily for recording, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Perform general administrative duties related to finance and records.
