You will handle journal entries, VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL submissions, and assist with audits, cashflow and supplier/customer accounts. Degree in Accounting is essential.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Pastel Evolution. Matric is required.

Qualifications

• Matric essential.
• 3–5 years' relevant experience.
• Microsoft Office (Excel advanced, Word, Outlook).
• Pastel / Sage (Evolution) experience (2 years).
• Degree or qualification in Accounting (non-negotiable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Record journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable (suppliers) and accounts receivable (customers).
• Track fixed assets, depreciation, and amortisation schedules.
• Maintain petty cash and reconcile bank accounts.
• Draft letters to banks, auditors, and suppliers.
• Prepare VAT returns (SARS).
• Prepare PAYE, UIF, and SDL returns.
• Assist with cashflow reporting and annual audits.
