In this role, as an Electronics Design Engineer you will provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. You will also work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

As an Electronics Design Engineer – IET, you will be responsible for:

  • Working primarily in Electrical engineering in product development, design, sustaining, or R&D.
  • Being responsible for projects of moderate complexity and having moderate impact on product cost, performance, manufacturing methods / standardization.
  • Planning and conducting research, design and development of standard engineering assignments and ensuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Selecting engineering techniques to solve problems and making sound design recommendations.
  • Having a sphere of influence that includes interface with other engineering groups for integration, support organizations, and vendors.
  • Handling special projects, as assigned, and may provide work direction for less experienced engineers and technicians.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have at least 4 years’ experience in Electronics Design.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Have experience in electronic product design and lifecycle.
  • Have experience with electronic circuit board design and layout.
  • Be capable of concise, effective written and verbal communication within technical and non-technical environments.
  • Have demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment, across functions, and with customers and suppliers.
