My client, who specializes in FMCG (Fresh Produce), is looking for a workshop supervisor to join their dynamic team. Minimum requirements:

• Must have completed Grade 12
• Diploma in a specialized trade such as fitter and turner, boiler maker, electrician, plumber, welder, or mechanic
• Must have a valid driver's license - PDP will be advantageous
• Forklift license is also advantageous
• Must have 5 years of working experience in a similar role/environment
• Must have 2 years of working experience in people management, overseeing interns, learners, and assistants

The responsibilities include:

• Preparing, supervising, and controlling workshop activities and scheduling work in the workshop
• Diagnosing all packhouse concerns
• Ensuring resources are available to meet production requests
• Administering stock
• Conducting investigations and checks in the workshop
• Assisting with deliveries and collections
• Assisting with onsite machine installations and maintenance
• Performing inspections and repairs of machinery to ensure proper performance
• Overseeing maintenance specialists' schedules
• Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, health and safety rules, and procedures of the workplace

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00, and Saturday, 07:00 - 12:00.
