Workshop Mechanic – Alice Springs, Nt

CJD Equipment are seeking a qualified Diesel (HV) Workshop Mechanic to join our team in Alice Springs.

You will need to be a true team player, who takes pride in being an expert in your trade.

You will have a strong drive for providing customer excellence, a commitment to succeed, ensuring the job is done right on time and the first time and to be of a high standard.

You will be required to provide both scheduled and non-scheduled service and repairs on a wide range of products including Kenworth, Isuzu, DAF Trucks and Volvo construction equipment.

As a member of our team you will also engage in a rostered after hours and field service role, representing CJD and its values, promoting a positive customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your skills across many OEM platforms in our growing branch.

Accountabilities

1. Accountable for diagnoses and timely repairs on all equipment as required.
2. Accountable for the maintenance and care of all tooling and equipment.
3. Responsible for ensuring the highest practicable standards in OHS in both workshop and field environment.
4. Accountable for the safe operation of both company and customer plant and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Field Service
2. Servicing & maintenance of heavy road transport
3. Electrical diagnostics & repairs
4. Trade Qualifications
5. HR Licence (beneficial)
6. Air-conditioning licence (beneficial)
7. Flexibility to work an on-call roster
