Job summary

Jackie Cory Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Mechanic to oversee the full maintenance function for machinery, buildings and housing on a farm environment. The role requires hands-on electrical and fitting experience, a red seal or 5–10 years’ farm maintenance background, and a valid driver’s license.

You will manage breakdown and project work, run the maintenance workshop, and be prepared to work overtime or unsupervised as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with Red Seal or 5–10 years’ farm maintenance experience.
• Electrical and fitting experience.
• Basic facilities maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Health and Safety principles.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full maintenance function for machinery, buildings and housing.
• Attend to breakdown and project work; run the maintenance workshop.
• Work overtime when required and operate unsupervised.

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor Mechanic Qualification (Red Seal) or 5 to 10 years Mechanic & General farm maintenance experience
