• Valid code EC (or EC1 0.4 or C) Driver's License
• Experience in maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles
• Experience in servicing and repairing automotive components
• At least 2 years of experience as a Manager in a unionized environment, preferably in a heavy commercial (buses) workshop
• Experience in Vehicle Fleet Management
• Willingness to work extensive long and late hours, including standby and occasional weekends
• Experience in removal, refit, and re-commissioning of heavy commercial (buses) engines

DUTIES :

• Assist in managing the technical budget
• Oversee maintenance of the vehicle fleet
• Manage maintenance of facilities, tools, and equipment
• Control workshop tools and equipment
• Manage engineering administration functions
• Supervise workshop personnel and identify developmental needs
• Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations in the workshop
• Monitor the Asset Register
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery
