Workshop Manager

A Company specializing in the service and repairs of vehicles is looking for a Workshop Manager.

Duties

1. Booking in vehicles.
2. Test driving vehicles before instructions are given to the mechanics.
3. Quotation and dealing with all customer queries.
4. Manage mechanics, fitters, and cleaners.
5. Allocate work to workshop employees and control productivity.
6. Ensure mechanics find and report every fault on every vehicle.
7. Ensure parts arrive on time.
8. Ensure mechanics comply with mechanic checklist and duties.
9. Check that all parts supplied to mechanics are fitted and old parts are put into the vehicle boot.
10. Supervise complicated repairs.
11. Diagnose problems.
12. Ensure workshop staff comply with requirements of the Occupational Safety Act.
13. Supervise administrator duties.
14. Ensure control systems are kept and strictly up to date.
15. Responsible for discipline including timekeeping.

Requirements

1. Matric.
2. 4 years experience in business management and vehicle repair background.
3. Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
4. Computer literate in MS Office.
5. Education: Certificate (Preferred).
6. Language: English and Afrikaans (Preferred).
7. License/Certification: Drivers license (Preferred), Qualified Motor Mechanic certificate (Required).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R20,000.00 per month.
