• Qualified and trade tested as a Red Seal Boilermaker is essential
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in computer software (e.g., MS Office, workshop management software)
• Proven experience as a workshop supervisor, manager, or in a similar role (minimum 5 years experience).
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of workshop equipment (lasers, press brakes, flame cutting machines, etc)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of workshop work staff to achieve high standards of performance, quality and safety.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Plan and schedule workflows to optimise resources and productivity.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer requirements. Perform regular checks and inspections on completed projects.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures.
• Customer Communication: Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met. Provide updates on project status and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with the team to implement changes that enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety.
