Workshop Assistant - Middelburg Job Summary Responsibilities : Tool and Equipment Support : Learn and contribute to the organization and maintenance of tools and equipment in the workshop. Assist in preparing tools and materials for technicians and mechanics. Workshop Organization : Gain exposure to workshop layout and organization. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Assist in Repairs and Maintenance : Learn to assist in basic repairs and maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians. Contribute to the dismantling and reassembling of machinery components. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during workshop activities. Participate in safety training sessions to ensure a secure working environment. Documentation Support : Assist in maintaining accurate records of workshop activities, repairs, and inspections. Learn to contribute to basic reports on equipment status. Collaboration with Teams : Work closely with senior technicians, mechanics, and other team members to gain practical experience. Seek guidance and actively participate in learning opportunities. Requirements : Recent completion of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Passion for machinery and construction. Willingness to learn and apply technical knowledge. Physical stamina and dexterity for hands-on tasks. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively. Be between the ages of 18 and 34 Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before Preferred Skills : A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow. Participation in relevant coursework or training programs. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
