Working Foreman (Automotive Industry) -Sandton, Gauteng - Salary R30,000 to R35,000

A forward-thinking automotive group based in Sandton is looking for a hands-on Working Foreman to lead and support our workshop technical team. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with a passion for high-quality workmanship, leadership, and driving team performance in a fast-paced, digitally integrated environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric with formal technical qualifications

  • Valid driver's license

  • 3 to5 years of experience as a qualified technician

  • Prior experience in team leadership or quality control

  • Background in corporate dealerships and volume brands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach workshop technicians to meet daily output and quality targets
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to OEM standards

  • Ensure job card accuracy, quality control, and warranty compliance

  • Manage workshop workflow, clockings, and productivity reporting

  • Oversee pre-delivery inspections and final quality checks

  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient workshop environment

  • Provide hands-on technical assistance and mentoring to junior staff
