The Working Foreman is responsible for leading the direct work in the workshop. They need to ensure that the work is carried out according to applicable instructions and in a rational and economic way for both the customer and the company and for selling workshop hours.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for daily planning of workshop
  • Carry out daily repairs to the vehicles in the workshop.
  • Provide the workshop technicians with instructions and directions. To guide and support the technicians about troubleshooting, repairing methods, efficiency and services quality.
  • Manage and maintain control of Work In progress (WIP) in line with Dealer targets
  • Test drives vehicles before and after the work is carried out, when necessary.
  • Matric certificate or N3 or equivalent
  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic with Trade certificate
  • Three years or more of technical workshop experience
  • Experience in leading a workshop team advantageous
  • Auto Electrical Experience is advantageous
