A distance education provider in Johannesburg is seeking a WIL Administrator to facilitate administrative tasks within the School of Education. You will be responsible for supporting students, organizing events, and maintaining relations with stakeholders. CORE PURPOSE : To facilitate all administrative tasks / duties for the WIL Department within the School of Education.
Core Functions General Administration which includes : Perform general duties related to administration in the Work Integrated Learning department.
Collate and file minutes of meetings and follow up.
Organise and assist in hosting regional events and related resources.
Attend and facilitate training sessions on administration procedures.
Collate and report on stakeholder and student queries.
Provide ongoing administration support to various stakeholders.
Assist with sourcing and interview process of mentor assessors.
Provide ongoing support to schools and students.
Provide ongoing support to students regionally.
Review all regional WIL schedules and school visits for May and August.
Build rapport and develop relations with all stakeholders including academics, students, school partners, and other external stakeholders.
Key Attributes Excellent communication skills and email etiquette.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Very high level organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Possess excellent inter-personal skills.
Must possess intermediate or advanced digital literacy skills.
Must be able to work under pressure.

Provide pastoral care and support to students.
General Requirements Fulfil all reasonably expected administrative functions related to the post.
At least 2-3 years of experience in Administration.
Additional Recommendations IT experience will be advantageous.
Experience in partnerships and collaboration with external stakeholders.
Minute taking : collate, share, and file minutes of meetings.
Ensure that all stakeholders receive minutes and updates timeously.
Perform general duties related to SoE such as typing, meeting attendance, and events planning for SoE regionally.
Respond to queries and channel to relevant departments.
Liaise with the regional library to ensure that resources (books and dissertations) are readily available to staff and students.
Resources must be filed electronically and manually (backed up constantly) and sourced to academics in need.
