takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented WMS Process Engineer to join our Supply Chain Team in Cape Town.

This position reports to the: Senior WMS Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to Day administration of Oracle WMS – user maintenance, location maintenance, level 1 support to DC operations, troubleshooting of integration issues with ERP.
  • Interface between DC Operations and WMS System for issue logging and resolution with Oracle. Reporting and giving feedback to DC Operations of issues being tracked and analyzing issue trends with WMS Vendor.
  • Part of a team responsible for design, configuration and implementation of new and re-engineering of existing WMS processes.
  • Testing and roll-out of proposed new functionalities in the WMS and managing quarterly upgrades of Oracle WMS.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience within DC operations.
  • Previous experience administrating WMS Systems.
  • Previous experience or knowledge on WMS systems such as Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, SAP, Highjump or similar.
  • Industrial Engineering, B.Comm Logistics or similar degree preferred.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office.
  • ERP/WMS System knowledge.
  • Supply Chain and DC operational process knowledge.
