- Greet guests and provide them with menus and wine lists

- Assist guests in selecting wines that pair well with their meal choices

- Provide recommendations and descriptions of different wines to guests

- Take orders and serve wine in a timely and professional manner

- Ensure all wine glasses are clean and polished

- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the wine list and be able to answer any questions from guests

- Monitor and maintain the wine inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed

- Ensure all wines are stored and served at the correct temperature

- Collaborate with the kitchen and other wait staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests

- Handle any guest concerns or complaints regarding wine with professionalism and resolve any issues promptly

- Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a wine waiter or sommelier in a fine dining establishment

- Extensive knowledge of different types of wine, regions, and food pairings

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid alcohol serving certification

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
