Placements24 is seeking a Wine Region Tour Driver to guide visitors through Paarl and the broader Cape Winelands. You will transport guests safely, share region insights, and ensure an enjoyable experience, blending driving skill with hospitality in the Western Cape.

The role requires a valid license, strong communication, and reliability, with a focus on friendly service and the ability to engage diverse groups of travelers. Seasonal hours and tips are possible.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in customer service or guiding roles is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of the Paarl area, its wineries and local attractions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse groups and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for managing tour schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tour groups in a comfortable vehicle to wineries and points of interest.
• Provide informative commentary on the history, geography, and wine-making processes.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the tour.
• Coordinate with wineries for tastings and appointments to keep the itinerary seamless.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tour vehicle.
