A leading company in the wine industry is seeking a passionate Wine Logistics Coordinator to manage logistics and administration for the Winemaker and Sales team. This role involves overseeing sample logistics, maintaining tasting schedules, and liaising with clients. Ideal candidates should possess strong logistics experience, effective communication skills, and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
We are searching for a successful Wine logistics coordinator who is passionate and energetic, and will oversee the wine logistics and administration for the Winemaker and Sales team.The person will report directly to the Winemaker.
The Employee’s responsibilities shall include, among other things, the following:

Logistics regarding sending samples whether for local or export clients.
·
Assisting the winemaker with WineMS admin. Adding deliveries, dry goods, and all consumables on the system.
·
Maintaining the sensorial tasting schedule as per wine online regulations.
·
Assisting with the ordering of dry goods where needed before production.
·
Adjusting WineMS with the chemicals as received from suppliers and placing it on the system.
·
Adding the wine sales orders to the system and supplying Procurement with the monthly reports.
·
Assist with the logistics of moving stock to and from storage facility.
·
Liaising with clients in terms of order placement.
·
Logistics behind orders regarding national clients with the wine sales manager.
·
Logistic arrangements with export/import of containers via JF Hillebrand;
·
Deliveries, invoices, following up on payments.
·
Assisting the wine sales manager with the wine club (record keeping, orders, contact; and
·
Checking of stock levels at warehouses and distribution companies (Takealot, ASML logistics etc.).

Knowledge of logistics systems and competence with Microsoft programs.
·
Administratively precise and well organized. Task orientated.

Good interpersonal skills and communication skills – ability to liaise at all levels; and
·
Outgoing, responsible, positive, can-do attitude, self-motivated and confident.

Proven experience in Wine warehousing
·
Proven experience in SAWIS
·
Proven experience in logistics
·
And Excise background will be an advantage
