Job Title: Wine Logistics Coordinator

The Wine Logistics Coordinator is passionate and energetic, responsible for overseeing wine logistics and administration for the Winemaker and Wine Club Manager. This role reports directly to the Winemaker on all HR-related, wine-related, logistical, customer relationship matters, campaigns, website issues, and more.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Must be honest, trustworthy, ethical, respectful, flexible, and committed to excellence.
2. Knowledge of logistics systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
3. Administratively precise and well-organized.
4. Task-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise at all levels.
5. Outgoing, responsible, positive, self-motivated, and confident.
6. Proven experience in wine warehousing and familiarity with SAWIS.
7. An excise background is advantageous.

Candidate Responsibilities:

1. Manage logistics for sending samples for local and export clients.
2. Assist the Winemaker with WineMS administration, including adding deliveries, dry goods, and consumables.
3. Maintain the sensorial tasting schedule according to wine online regulations.
4. Assist with ordering dry goods before production.
5. Update WineMS with chemicals received from suppliers and record them in the system.
6. Input wine sales orders into the system and provide monthly reports to Procurement.
7. Coordinate stock movements to and from storage facilities.
8. Liaise with clients regarding order placements.
9. Coordinate logistics for orders with the wine sales manager, including export/import via JF Hillebrand.
10. Manage deliveries, invoices, and follow-up on payments.
11. Assist with the Wine Club activities, including record keeping, orders, and client contact.
12. Monitor stock levels at warehouses and distribution partners such as Takealot and ASML Logistics.
