Mission

Independently perform complex operational tasks within your department to meet project needs, following supervisor instructions.

Production

Optimize energy generation based on technology, maximize economic results, ensure safe operation, and protect the environment throughout the project’s lifespan.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal operation of wind farms, ensuring maximum availability.
• Proactively repair or replace components to prevent failures and downtime.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components of wind turbines per manufacturer guidelines.
• Utilize control, instrumentation, telecommunication, and electrical engineering concepts regularly.
• Assist and support turbine technicians.
• Ensure turbines operate efficiently while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Perform troubleshooting, preventive, and corrective maintenance and inspections.
• Supervise specialist and subcontractor activities during major maintenance.
• Conduct wind turbine and substation switching under supervision.

Reporting

• Record tasks daily in O&M management systems (e.g., MAXIMO, RDO).
• Provide daily updates to team and stakeholders.
• Report safety incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Monitor and report material usage and stock levels.

Tools and Equipment

• Manage tools, materials, company property, and vehicles responsibly.
• Maintain logistics and management systems.

Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance

• Follow SHE rules and report incidents immediately.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support ad hoc requests and projects within the company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical or electrical qualification (minimum N2) or SARETEC certification.
• 0-1 years of experience as a wind turbine technician, preferably with AW3000 experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and Maximo/SAP.
• Aptitude for working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work irregular hours, shifts, and standby.
• Respond promptly to call-outs.
