About the Role

As a Wheel Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly aligned to enhance their performance, safety, and longevity. In this role, you will work with a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, to ensure that their wheels are aligned according to manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform wheel alignment services on various types of vehicles.
Inspect and diagnose alignment issues using specialized equipment.
Adjust camber, caster, and toe angles to manufacturer specifications.
Inspect suspension and steering systems for wear or damage.
Provide detailed explanations of alignment issues and solutions to customers.
Maintain and calibrate alignment equipment regularly.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Key Performance Area

Ensure that all job cards and any other documentation are completed fully and accurately at all times.
Ensure all Tyre repairs and replacements are performed using the correct procedure and equipment with no return issues.
Be fully capable of advising customers on different products and Tyres, providing quotes, and closing sales.
Consistently follow all safe working practices and procedures; always use PPE and report all unsafe situations and incidents/ near misses to management within the required timeframes.
Candidate Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

General mechanical skills
Matric
Certified wheel alignment tech
5 years of alignment experience.
Driver’s license.
Proven experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician or similar role.
Strong understanding of vehicle suspension and steering systems.
Proficiency with manual and computerized alignment tools.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Relevant certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
