Job summary

Amicorp Group in Cape Town is launching WhatsApp as a direct communication channel. You will own this channel end to end, designing how it works, running it day to day, and ensuring conversations are fast, helpful, secure and compliant.

You will collaborate with Client Service, Compliance, IT and Marketing to turn WhatsApp into a trusted client channel while protecting confidentiality. You will lead channel governance, service operations, marketing communications and AI-driven improvements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–8 years in client service or digital communications.
• Experience running a messaging channel like WhatsApp at scale.
• Hands-on with WhatsApp Business Platform API and template management.
• Excellent written communication and cross-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and own WhatsApp channel strategy and governance.
• Set up and run the operating model for inbound conversations across time zones.
• Design service journeys and compliant messaging templates.
• Coordinate campaigns with Marketing and Sales teams.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
