To ensure that all wetlap stored in a Wetlap storage areas is handle with care and safely. Supply TM's with correct wetlap grade on time using Forklift.
In this role, you will:
Safety
• Safety: Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure FLT operations are compliant and safe – make sure FLT operator’s license is valid, conduct appropriate maintenance on FLT’s (check-list, Battery changing, etc.)
• Ensure adherence to loading and offloading procedure.
Housekeeping
• Maintain good housekeeping, storage and stacking standards in the Wetlap Store according to 5’s housekeeping standards
Productivity
• Inspection of wetlap bales on RFP production conveyor for stability and correct data on the tag
• On time collection of all approved wetlap on the RFP conveyor at an average rate of 30 bales per hour
• Accurate recording of every bale in the wetlap received log sheet
• Weighing of 1 bale per hour to verify or confirm bale tonnage recorded on the production tag
• Safe stacking of all wetlap bales in designated storage location allowing for FIFO system
• Accurate issuing and recording of all wetlap bales to TM2
• Compare bales received and recorded with number of bales produced, sign recon sheet together with wetlap production operator at the end of each shift and escalate any discrepancies.
• Compare bales recorded in the slush pulper issue book with physical bales consumed by TM’s
• Ensure proper communication during handover meeting
• Conduct wetlap stock counts
• Cover at Weighbridge after hours and on Weekends
• Performs quality checks on Wastepaper received from supplier
