Job summary

Wellness Warehouse is seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales at our Western Cape store in Langebaan. You will engage customers, identify needs and provide suitable options, while representing the Wellness Warehouse brand with professionalism.

Role requires strong communication, computer literacy, and willingness to work weekends. Training through Wellness Academy and supplier programs supports continual development and promotional knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Wellness Warehouse experience as a Sales Assistant.
• Applicable Wellness Academy Foundation Training & Specialization Training.
• All supplier training.
• Fully computer literate.
• Perfect written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency Assessment Achieved.

Responsibilities

• Approach all customers, greet, smile and offer assistance.
• Identify customer needs in order to provide optimal experience.
• Take responsibility for serving the customer and finding solutions to customers’ queries.
• Meet customers needs and expectations by asking, listening to and advising customers as to options/services/products available.
• Offers alternatives to the customer if merchandise is not available.
• Achievement of sales and unit targets.
• Knows what new lines and promotions have come into the store.
• Opening & closing procedures are followed.
• To ensure all merchandising principles are in place and that every item is ticketed.
• Ensure accurate stock counts & checking of product expiry dates.
• Cash handling - assist at point of sale and with cash ups.
