Weighbridge Operator Cater Chain at Famous Brands at Famous Brands

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure tracks entering and leaving the site are recorded
• Record weights and complete appropriate documents
• Ensure trucks are sent to the correct areas
• Report truck mass variances to management
• Ensure masses collate with invoices
• Drive errands as needed
• Verify raw material and dry goods are transferred accurately as per requisitions
• Assist with ad hoc office duties for the inventory team as required
• Manage Visitor and Contractor Access Control
• Conduct Visitor and Contractor Orientation and Induction
• Assist with perimeter and electrical fencing inspections
• Prepare weekly and daily reports on security and weighbridge control concerns
• Ensure efficient and effective control of traffic in the property and the area controlling access from the public street
• Control documentation and checklists for Gardening services and security, adhering to company quality and food safety rules and regulations
• Perform additional ad hoc duties such as lubrication of machines

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12
• Minimum of 1 year weighbridge experience
• Code B driver's license
• Numeracy and literacy skills
• Weighbridge software knowledge
• Computer skills and basic Microsoft knowledge
• Knowledge of weighbridge operation and procedures
