Qualifications
- Proven pastry chef with a wedding/event portfolio.
- Expertise in cake decorating, sugar artistry, and pastry techniques.
- Strong understanding of baking science, ingredient functions and flavor pairings.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, especially during peak seasons.
- Creative with an eye for detail and aesthetic presentation.
Responsibilities
- Design and create custom wedding cakes, desserts and pastries for events.
- Prepare a wide range of pastry items with consistent quality and presentation.
- Manage inventory, order supplies and control costs in the pastry department.
- Collaborate with clients and catering team to finalize dessert selections and ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pastry kitchen following safety standards.
