Job Title: Wedding and Special Events Coordinator
Job Location: Western Cape, Cape Town
Deadline: June 22, 2025
Primary Responsibilities Include:
  1. Preparing quotes, making follow-up calls with prospective clients, and holding meetings with interested clients.
  2. Quoting and contracting all potential business through available booking channels.
  3. Maintaining standard correspondence formats for various reservation stages.
  4. Managing site inspections in conjunction with the Sales team.
  5. Maximizing revenues and profits through up-selling facilities and services.
  6. Liaising with off-site suppliers as needed.
  7. Compiling accurate function sheets weekly, recording changes, and distributing them to relevant parties.
Requirements:

What You Bring:

  • Experience in Groups and Special Events within a luxury environment (preferred).
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, especially for weddings and special events.
  • Junior sales and reservations experience (advantageous).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Background in administrative or management roles.
