Assistant Website Warehouse Manager

As the Assistant Website Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage the accurate and efficient dispatching of all website orders.

This includes managing employees in your department and handling customer service queries related to delivery.

This position is on a 6-day work week.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage compliance with existing warehouse processes.
  2. Ensure correct dispatch procedures are followed.
  3. Plan deliveries as needed.
  4. Maintain efficient documentation of picking slips, delivery notes, waybills, and manage relations with third-party logistics partners.
  5. Review processes and data regularly to maximize efficiency.
  6. Focus extra planning during peak periods.
  7. Align transport requirements with orders.
  8. Provide high-level customer service.
  9. Manage quality control and order accuracy.
  10. Compare invoices to physical stock accurately.
  11. Ensure timely picking of correct orders.
  12. Maintain quality control of stock handling.
Employee Management
  1. Recruit new staff when needed.
  2. Oversee attendance and punctuality.
  3. Handle disciplinary actions.
  4. Conduct performance reviews.
Candidate Profile
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Relevant diploma/degree in logistics or operations preferred.
  • 3+ years retail/logistics experience.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
