As we expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a skilled Webmaster to oversee the continuous growth, performance, and optimization of our e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities
  • Website Design & Development
    • Manage and maintain the website’s structure, navigation, and overall functionality.
    • Ensure mobile compatibility, responsiveness, and user-friendly design.
    • Collaborate with designers and developers to implement new features and updates.
  • Content Management
    • Oversee and approve the publishing of content, including product listings, images, blogs, and videos.
    • Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand identity.
    • Manage content scheduling to support marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.
  • Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    • Regularly test and debug the website to identify and fix issues (e.g., broken links, missing images, loading errors).
    • Keep all plugins, themes, and integrations updated.
    • Monitor and optimize website speed and performance.
  • Website Security
    • Implement and maintain strong security measures against malware, cyber threats, and unauthorized access.
    • Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place.
  • Performance Analysis
    • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to monitor traffic, conversions, and user behavior.
    • Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights for improvement.
    • Recommend strategies to enhance user experience and sales conversions.
  • SEO Optimization
    • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase search engine rankings.
    • Optimize metadata, keywords, and site structure for visibility.
    • Track SEO performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing teams to align web content with campaigns.
    • Partner with design teams to ensure branding consistency.
    • Support customer service teams with technical website-related queries.
Skills & Competencies
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, or WooCommerce), and knowledge of web servers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret website data to drive informed decisions.
  • SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO tools, keyword research, and ranking strategies.
  • Security Awareness: Understanding of best practices for website protection and compliance.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Adaptability: Up-to-date with the latest web technologies, design trends, and algorithm changes.
Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Web Development, IT, Digital Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience as a Webmaster, Web Developer, or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio of managed websites, particularly in e-commerce.
