Qualifications

• 7–9 years Web Programming experience, with a minimum of 5 years in PHP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of E-Business systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prioritise work, and manage SDLC processes.
• Coordinate processes with stakeholders to deliver integrated E-Commerce applications.
• Coordinate all processes with internal and external stakeholders (tourism departments, hosting company, payment gateway, corporate bank, and corporate IT service provider) to define, document and deliver integrated E-Commerce applications, components and strategies.
• Upgrade existing infrastructure and align all applications with new technology.
• Be responsible for online security and risk management.
• Enhance the user experience (UX) of all E-Commerce systems.
• Serve as a contingency for Senior Web Developer in all hands – on programming.
• Enhance the site for search engine optimisation and assist with marketing the website online.

Our client is seeking a suitable Web Systems Analyst in the E-Business Department based in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of all E-Business systems within an open source environment (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, etc.) according to relevant legislation and standards.
• Conduct feasibility study, work prioritisation and capacity planning for web projects and observe the software development life-cycles (SDLC) from start to finish.
• Draw, implement and consistently enforce complete and thorough documentation within the E-Business environment.
• Coordinate all processes with internal and external stakeholders (tourism departments, hosting company, payment gateway, corporate bank, and corporate IT service provider) to define, document and deliver integrated E-Commerce applications, components and strategies.
• Upgrade existing infrastructure and align all applications with new technology.

Requirements
