Job summary

Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a Website Functional Administrator to join the Digital department. Focus on the technical aspects for maintaining company websites, ensuring stability, functionality, support and performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining web publishing for products and content, monitoring frontend and backend, and assisting with new application rollouts in a fast-paced retail environment. Proficiency in HTML/CSS and Magento 2 is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or higher education; ecommerce, digital marketing and IT related qualifications.
• 1–2 years' work experience as a web administrator or web functional.
• 1–2 years' Ecommerce platform experience, preferably Adobe Commerce (Magento 2).
• Strong knowledge of website management, monitoring and performance tools.
• Proficiency in markup languages (HTML and CSS).
• Experience with testing and audits of front-end and back-end systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, report issues, and support roll-out of new applications.
• Familiarity with online digital marketing and SEO basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain web publishing functionality for products, catalog and content interfaces to ensure error-free operation.
• Conduct regular functional and technical FE & BE monitoring and audits; generate reports and fix bugs.
• Ensure administrative duties are completed within department requirements.

Description

Effectively focus on the technical aspects for the maintenance of the company's websites to ensure optimal stability, functionality, support and performance.

Key Dials

• Maintain the web publishing functionality related to web content initiatives, to ensure that products, catalog and content interfaces and integrations are error free.
• Regular functional and technical FE & BE monitoring and audits to identify, produce reports, table enhancements and resolve any bugs/snags.
• To ensure that administrative duties are executed within the department as per the Company requirements and standard
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely customer feedback, and support the roll-out of new applications.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12
• Additional qualifications related to the ecommerce, digital marketing and IT field.
• 1-2 years' work experience as a web administrator and or web functional.
