Job summary

Orion Group is seeking a talented Web Developer/Designer to join our Marketing Team. The role combines development and design to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites for desktop and mobile platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills, experience with APIs and e-commerce, and a solid portfolio. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and SEO knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• A tertiary qualification in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, or related field is preferable.
• At least 5+ years of experience in web development and design.
• Must be able to provide a portfolio of websites completed.
• Strong understanding of APIs, E-Commerce, online shopping, payment gateways and loyalty programmes as well as UX/UI design, website updates, integrations and widgets.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
