Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. You will play a crucial role in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and collaboration in an agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

We’re actively seeking an exceptional Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our team, where you’ll take the lead in designing and developing robust full-stack web applications from inception to deployment. Your role will extend beyond technical expertise, as you mentor junior developers, instilling a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll define, design, and implement new features, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
• Lead the development process of new applications from concept to deployment.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Manage API design and development, as well as security, data protection, and user authentication.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Provide maintenance and support for existing applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes.
  
  

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in web development, with a strong background in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and React.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Vercel, Digital Ocean or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of additional programming or scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crafting code that is not only clean and easily readable but also highly maintainable.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience in optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
