Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Web Content Creator in Cape Town to design and update web pages, newsletters, and marketing materials. You will work with SharePoint on-prem 2016 and WordPress to publish content and maintain consistency with brand standards.

The role requires a strong eye for typography, layout, and readability, plus hands-on experience with Photoshop/Illustrator for visual assets and CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 4 years of experience in web development and/or web content creation.
• 4 years of recent experience as a web content creator with SharePoint on-prem 2016.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla.

Responsibilities

• Creates engaging and visually appealing web pages.
• Updates existing pages and creates new ones using SharePoint on-prem 2016.
• Develops content for marketing materials such as brochures, reports, and emails.
• Publishes newsletters via SharePoint or WordPress (one-click publication).
• Collects and organizes data from various systems.
• Collaborates with the design team on visuals and workflow methods.
• Interprets business requirements to design graphics, multimedia, and interactive content.
• Analyzes typography, layout, colors and fonts to produce readable designs.
