Job description

Our client, a Project Management organisation, is looking for an experienced and reliable Financial Accountant to join their team, to support Foundation clients in the digital assets space.

The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, and work independently with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate as the outsourced financial accountant for their Foundation clients, with responsibilities across :

• Day-to-day financial operations and bookkeeping
• Preparing and posting journals (QuickBooks experience essential)
• Monthly management accounts, including income statement and balance sheet reviews
• Budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis
• Liaising with Cayman-based team on financial reporting and commentary
• Overseeing payments, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, KYC and basic regulatory requirements
• Communicating directly with clients and external service providers

Requirements :

• A deep understanding of accounting principles (formal qualification)
• 2–3+ years post-qualification experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong experience in preparing management accounts and handling full finance function ownership
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting systems
• Comfortable working independently
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, including international teams
• Previous experience in an outsourced finance or client-facing role
• Exposure to Web3, crypto, or digital assets
• Experience with both fiat and digital asset payments and reconciliations
