Are You Someone Who Can

  1. Inform and educate customers on products and services to ensure retention of existing customers; increase sales revenue and increase the organisation's customer base.
  2. Advise on and provide support to ensure the effective resolution of customer queries to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Analyse financial information obtained from clients to develop a financial plan or proposal using the correct tools.
  4. Formulate proposals in cash management, risk needs, investment planning, estate planning, or other areas to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  5. Achieve gross production target as indicated in scorecard.
  6. Achieve previously determined sales targets across the business by identifying opportunities to advise on FirstRand approved investment and risk products.
  7. Investigate available investment opportunities to determine compatibility with client financial plans.
  8. Review clients' financial plans regularly to determine whether life changes, economic changes, environmental concerns, or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment.
  9. Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and overall customer targets.
  10. Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making, and the identification of improvement opportunities.
  11. Take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements in area of accountability.
  12. Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and FNB’s internal compliance procedures and requirements.
  13. Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by FNB.
  14. Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialization and identify risks.
  15. Ensure optimal usage and protection of business assets.
  16. Maintain expert knowledge on all FirstRand approved products, application procedures, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
  17. Ensure that the quality of advice remains high and consistent, aligned with FNB’s investment philosophy and product approved matrix.
  18. Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking, benchmarking, and representation on related forums.
  19. Engage in cross-functional activities.
  20. Collaborate across boundaries and find common ground with a widening range of stakeholders.
  21. Maintain and build relationships for expectation management, knowledge sharing, and integration.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You

  1. Hold a relevant Degree in Investment or Economics and are a Certified Financial Planner.
  2. Have 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Wealth Manager with sales and advisory experience with high-income clients.
  3. Possess FAIS experience, particularly in categories such as Long-Term Insurance, Shares, Bonds, Forex Investments, etc., with preference given to candidates with the following categories:

Category 1: 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 1.12, 1.14, 1.15, 1.17, 1.18, 1.20, 1.21, 1.22, 1.24, 1.26

Category 2: 2.2, 2.3, 2.5, 2.6, 2.9, 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.14, 2.18, 2.20
