Job Summary

We are seeking a senior, experienced, client-focused Family Office Banker with over 10 years of experience to serve as a trusted advisor to Family Office clients in the Gauteng South region, based at our Sandton Office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide bespoke banking advice to clients and families with a minimum net asset value of R250 million.

Job Description

  1. Serve as a Family Office Banker to an existing portfolio of clients, delivering tailored banking solutions.
  2. Structure complex credit facilities, monitor credit exposure, and ensure compliance with bank credit policies and risk management guidelines.
  3. Achieve personal targets for new and existing clients in Transactional Banking, structured credit, and Forex by servicing current and prospective multi-generational clients.
  4. Develop short-term tactical plans to meet annual budgets and targets within a 12-month timeframe. Identify, develop, and source new Ultra High Net Worth/Family Office relationships through personal and client referrals, internal networks, and collaboration within the broader Group and Private Wealth Banking unit.
  5. Manage and grow existing multi-generational client relationships through quarterly meetings, annual credit reviews, and exceptional service delivery. Act as the primary contact and coordinator for all client advice, transactions, and internal stakeholder engagement.
  6. Maintain high standards of client service and act as the main point of contact for transaction queries across multiple locations within the region.
  7. Handle credit-related tasks, including client interactions, information gathering, financial analysis, and ensuring timely credit reviews. Coordinate with product teams for credit assessments and approvals.
  8. Ensure compliance with global and market standards, including regulatory requirements, KYC, and operating procedures, aligning with the Front Office manual.
  9. Resolve client queries effectively, acting as an escalation point for serious issues.
  10. Support operational activities by preparing documentation, client correspondence, and follow-up actions, acting as the primary contact for day-to-day administration across services and products.

Education

Postgraduate Degrees and Professional Qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies are required.
