Job Summary

Manage and grow a portfolio of high net worth clients, trusts, investment holding companies, and businesses. Service their banking, lending, and foreign exchange needs. Provide specialist advice in developing tactical strategies and plans, and support practice formulation and best practice improvements.

Job Description

  • New Business Organisation: Develop short-term tactical plans to meet annual targets within 6 to 12 months. Identify, develop, and source new high net worth relationships through personal contacts, client referrals, internal networks, and collaboration within the group and WIMI business unit. Achieve personal targets for transactional banking, credit, FX, and refer relevant business within Wealth Advisory and the broader group.
  • Client Service - Manage and Grow Existing Client Relationships: Conduct quarterly meetings and annual credit reviews to assess clients’ financial health. Maintain high service levels, ensuring collaboration across teams to deliver excellent client experience. Act as the main contact for all client advice and queries related to transactional banking, credit, FX, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain high service standards, serve as the key contact for banking and credit advice, and act as the interface between clients and internal teams within Absa Group Limited and WIMI.
  • Involvement in Credit Tasks: Engage with clients to gather information, ensure timely credit reviews, and liaise with product teams for credit-related processes such as overdrafts and home loans.
  • Governance and Control: Ensure compliance with global standards, regulatory requirements, KYC, and internal procedures.
  • Query Resolution: Handle client queries and act as the escalation point for serious issues.
  • Operational Support: Prepare client documentation, act as the focal point for administrative tasks, and follow up on client meetings and actions.

Education

Postgraduate degrees and professional qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Management are required.
