Qualifications / Requirements:
- Matric
- Appropriate tertiary qualification(s) highly advantageous
- Administrative experience in the financial services industry is essential
- Excellent command of English and Afrikaans (reading and writing)
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Knowledge of financial products, service providers, and their website functionalities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Key Performance Areas:
- Servicing clients:
- Understand investment/fund values, performance statistics, and client information
- Prepare retirement planning, investment proposals, and review documentation
- Assist with drafting clients’ Wills in collaboration with the Wealth Planner/Manager
- Make payments on behalf of clients via the corporate saver account
- Track and forward payments to investment companies
- Handle client complaints and inquiries with the Wealth Planner/Manager
- Assist clients with obtaining tax certificates, etc., as needed
- Processing new business:
- Implement clients’ instructions regarding investments and insurance policies, in consultation with the Wealth Manager, and submit documentation to service providers
- Gather outstanding documentation and arrange medicals to finalize proposals
- Confirm implementation of client instructions with service providers
- Communicate instructions to clients in writing
- Follow up on incomplete or pending client transactions and coordinate with the Wealth Planner
- Complete and submit Fee Forms and internal documentation accurately and promptly
- Prepare comprehensive handover files for the Wealth Manager, ensuring all compliance tasks are completed
- General administration:
- Ensure client documentation complies with FICA and FAIS legislation
- Schedule meetings and organize diaries for the Wealth Planner
- Record all client interactions and update client records accordingly
- Maintain client records and database, both physically and electronically
- Handle binding of company documents and postage/courier duties
- Provide relief duties for Administrative Assistant/Reception/Corporate Cash Manager
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
