Job description

Our client is seeking an Afrikaans-speaking Wealth Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Formal Education
    • Matric
    • Appropriate Tertiary qualifications (advantageous)
  • Experience
    • Relevant administrative experience in the financial services industry
  • Critical Competencies
    • Excellent command of English (reading and writing)
    • Excellent command of Afrikaans (reading, writing, speaking)

This will enable you to fulfill the following duties:

  • Servicing Clients
    • Assimilate investment/fund values, performance statistics, and client information
    • Prepare retirement planning, investment proposals, and review documentation
    • Assist with wills in consultation with the Wealth Planner/Manager
    • Make and track payments on behalf of clients
    • Handle client complaints and inquiries
    • Assist clients with obtaining tax certificates and other documentation
    • Ensure all interactions comply with TCF principles
  • Processing New Business
    • Implement client instructions regarding investments and insurance
    • Gather documentation, arrange medicals, and confirm implementation
    • Communicate with clients and service providers
    • Complete and submit necessary forms and documentation
    • Prepare handover files for the Wealth Manager
  • General Administration
    • Ensure compliance with FICA & FAIS legislation
    • Schedule meetings and organize diaries
    • Record and update client interactions and documentation
    • Maintain client records and handle administrative duties
    • Perform relief duties as needed
