Job description

Job Title: Afrikaans Speaking Wealth Assistant

Our client is seeking an Afrikaans speaking Wealth Assistant. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

Education:
  • Matric
  • Appropriate Tertiary qualifications would be advantageous
Experience:
  • Relevant administrative experience in the financial services industry is essential
Critical Competencies:
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English
  • Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills in Afrikaans
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Servicing:
    • Assimilate investment/fund values, performance statistics, and client information
    • Prepare retirement planning, investment proposals, and review documentation
    • Assist with wills in consultation with the Wealth Planner/Manager
    • Make and track payments on behalf of clients
    • Address client complaints and inquiries
    • Assist with obtaining tax certificates and other documentation
    • Ensure compliance with TCF principles
  2. Processing New Business:
    • Implement client instructions regarding investments and insurance
    • Coordinate with service providers and obtain necessary documentation
    • Communicate with clients about the status of their instructions
    • Complete and submit required forms and documentation
  3. General Administration:
    • Ensure documentation compliance with FICA & FAIS
    • Schedule meetings and organize diaries
    • Record and update client interactions and records
    • Handle administrative duties such as postage, courier, and document binding
    • Provide relief duties as needed
