Our client is looking for an Afrikaans speaking Wealth Assistant. The ideal candidate will have:
- Formal Education: Matric, with appropriate tertiary qualifications being advantageous.
- Experience: Appropriate administrative experience in the financial services industry is essential.
- Critical Competencies: Excellent knowledge of English (read, write) and Afrikaans (read, write, speak).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Servicing clients by assimilating investment/fund values, performance statistics, and client information.
- Preparing retirement planning, investment proposals, and review documentation.
- Assisting with wills and other client documentation in consultation with the Wealth Planner/Manager.
- Making payments on behalf of clients and tracking these payments.
- Handling client complaints and inquiries.
- Obtaining tax certificates and other documentation as required.
- Ensuring all interactions comply with TCF principles.
- Processing new business and implementing client instructions in investment and insurance matters.
- Obtaining and verifying documentation, including arranging medicals if necessary.
- Communicating with clients about the status of their instructions.
- Following up on incomplete business and ensuring timely completion of documentation and fee forms.
- Preparing comprehensive handover files for the Wealth Manager.
- Ensuring client documentation complies with FICA & FAIS legislation.
- Scheduling meetings, maintaining client records, and managing administrative duties.
- Providing relief duties as required and performing ad hoc tasks.
